SAMI is a Brooklyn based Moroccan-Dominican DJ with a deep passion for music that began with hip hop and R&B. Over time, SAMI developed a love for electronic music, which led to DJing, building an extensive vinyl collection, and producing. As a resident of Le Petit Box, a secretive dance haven in Brooklyn run by a group of seven audiophiles, SAMI’s approach to DJing centers on spinning the right sound for the right people, creating cohesion and energy on the dance floor. Alongside focusing on showcasing local/international talent through their video mix series, SAMI also spins at their monthly residency and various events and venues throughout NYC.
